What is Options contract fee?
In short
The charge for buying or selling a single options contract, quoted per contract rather than per share.
An options contract fee is what a broker charges for each options contract you trade, on top of the contract's price. You pay it per contract, so the total depends on how many contracts you use.
The two pricing styles in this group sit far apart. Alpaca charges nothing for its options contract fee. At the other end, Angel One and 5paisa charge INR 20 and INR 20 per contract. Ally Bank charges $0.50 and Axos Invest charges $0.80.
For frequent options traders the per-contract amount adds up quickly, so it is worth comparing against the cost of the trades themselves.
