What is FSCA?
In short
The FSCA is South Africa's financial services regulator, and the brokers here name it either on its own or beside other supervisors.
The FSCA, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, is South Africa's financial services watchdog. Old Mutual is listed under it and nothing else, which makes that record narrower than most. Exness names the FSCA beside the FCA, CySEC and FSA Seychelles, and holds the licence 51024. Markets.com pairs it with CySEC, FCA and ASIC instead. What such a listing conveys is that a separate South African entity is supervised at home, under local rules, and that the number attached to it can be traced through a public register.
