What is AMF?
In short
The AMF is the French markets regulator, and it appears in the regulator field of brokers holding a French registration.
A regulator licenses a firm, sets the rules it must meet and acts when customers are at risk. The AMF, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, is France's financial markets authority and appears in the regulator field of Bull Bitcoin, which lists it alone. Boursobank, the Boursorama brand, lists both ACPR, described as the French prudential supervisory authority, and the AMF, while coinhouse lists the Autorité des Marchés Financiers with ACPR. Djamo carries an AMF-UMOA registration, which ties it to the West African regional market rather than France alone.
